DURTY NELLY'S

Good drinks. Great people. A great time in Deadwood.

A BASEMENT BAR THAT DOESN'T BEHAVE

Some of Deadwood’s best stories aren’t found on Main Street. They’re found underneath it.

Located beneath Oyster Bay in the historic Fairmont building, Durty Nelly’s is a high-energy basement bar with three bars, karaoke every Thursday through Saturday, adult crane games and more than a century of colorful Deadwood history. Take the stage, grab a drink, order an A&B Pizza from upstairs or settle in and watch the party unfold. Durty Nelly’s is loud, lively and never quite predictable.

Durty Nelly's Hours

Karaoke Nights

Tuesday – Saturday
7:00 PM until close

Karaoke isn’t an occasional event at Durty Nelly’s. It’s what we do. Take the stage, cheer on your friends or simply enjoy the show every Thursday through Saturday night.

Three bars

You won’t have to go far to find your next drink. Durty Nelly’s has three bars throughout the basement, including the Widow Maker tucked away in the back.

A&B Pizza

Craving pizza?

Order from A&B Pizza upstairs and enjoy one of Deadwood’s favorite pizzas without leaving the party downstairs.

Adult Claw Games

These aren’t the crane games you remember from the arcade.

Try your luck at Durty Nelly’s adults-only crane games, filled with prizes made for grown-ups.

Private Parties

Looking for a place that your group will actually remember?

It’s a one-of-a-kind setting for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, reunions and other celebrations.

MORE THAN A BASEMENT BAR

Long before Durty Nelly’s became one of Deadwood’s liveliest late-night destinations, the basement of the Fairmont was home to a barbershop, massage parlor, Turkish bath and Prohibition-era speakeasy. Several pieces of that history can still be found inside the bar. The old cistern well that once supplied water to the Turkish bath remains near the Widow Maker, and the site of one of Deadwood’s earliest jail holding cells can still be seen near the front of the basement.

It’s an unusual combination of Deadwood history and present-day fun, but that’s exactly what makes Durty Nelly’s unlike anywhere else in town.
